I'm Sue Palma (drive a purple car), born & raised in Omaha Nebraska, where my entire family still lives. Moved out here to Sun Lakes Country Club 10 years ago.
My father, ex-husband & father-in-law all worked for the USPS postal system. I was very active in the NALCA ( letter carriers auxiliary) holding several different board chairs on the local & state levels. I also went through all of the chairs of my Neighborhood Community HOA.
I’ve worked in multiple different jobs from selling magazines to running the National Safety Council’s Traffic Dismissal & Drivers Education Department.
My most recent job was working in the Fraud/Risk department for PayPal for 15 years. Unfortunately, due to outsourcing, I lost that job 3 years ago and decided to retire.
Since Jim McMichael introduced me to the food distribution game for our community, I have found 4 different food distribution opportunities. I post these on my “Sun Lakes Free Food” Facebook page. I also occasionally go to 3 or 4 of the churches/food banks to pick up food to share with my neighbors each month.
I truly believe in the “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” motto.
I’m honored to have been asked to participate in this new food program!
